Beautiful home in a stunning garden located in a quiet location close to Leura ☺Beautiful property as shown in the photos. Our room was spacious & bed very comfortable. The lounge room is a fabulous shared space & there are several spots to sit in the garden or on the verandah & enjoy a glass of wine. ☹NothingPosted on Booking![]()

Gorgeous B&B in Leura ☺What a beautiful property and delightful hostess! Everything was immaculate, the gardens are wonderful, breakfast was delicious, and a glass of port by the fireplace was perfect! It was an easy walk in to Leura Mall for dinner and an easy drive to Katoomba or Blackheath for amazing walks.Posted on Booking![]()

We had a fantastic time and felt at home when we were here. ☺The bedroom and the common areas were comfy and the whole property was gorgeous and exactly what we were looking for. Jill and Lexie were friendly and accomodating and the location was picturesque. It was only a short drive to most of the places we went in the mountains. ☹Definitely the biggest challenge was the cold, being in winter. The electric blankets snd heater helped but being an older manor, the insulation in general seemed a bit weak. Obviously not an easy fix. It would have been nice to have an extra powerboard for chargers in the bedroom too.+6Posted on Booking![]()

Comfortable and cozy ☺The whole house was cozy ☹The location, although close to the town, wasn't very convenient to walk to and from at night.+1

A lovely weekend away made better by staying at Bethany Manor. ☺Charming property in a private setting and location. Room was perfectly presented, immaculate and cosy. Jill is a terrific host. The warm welcome and attention was appreciated. ☹Some simple adjustments to on-site vehicular turning paths would make on-site car parking better, especially at night due to the absence of lighting in the parking area.Posted on Booking![]()

Characterful house with lovely host and a beautiful garden ☺Bethany Manor is run by the lovely Jill who is welcoming and very friendly. It's a very traditional B&B set in a beautiful garden close to the Great Western Highway and a short walk from Leura Mall (about 1km). The bedroom we had (the Walling Suite) was a good size with a comfortable bed and was well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities which are also available in the sunroom/dining area too. There's a small cozy lounge with a fire, but it took a while to get warm (it was quite a cold weekend that we stayed) and there's not much light for reading. Nice to sit down for a port (complimentary) after dinner though. Onsite parking for 4 cars is provided and there's an EV charger there too which is good. ☹The breakfast choices are pretty limited. Just some cereal and milk, rolls and then scrambled egg on toast both days. Not that they were bad, just not that interesting. We were going on a long walk on the Saturday so were hoping for a bit more (but we were able to get some lovely pastries in Leura). Whilst nice and quiet despite being near the highway, the shortest walk into Leura Mall is along the highway which isn't great (you can take a more circuitous route which will take longer and involve more hills though). Lastly, there was a (thankfully mild) damp smell in the Walling Suite. Not massively intrusive but definitely there. That's the thing about old houses, I think, difficult to avoid.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Had a great stay in the middle of September. Each room is very well decorated, the host is wonderful and breakfast was delicious! One of the few true BnB options in the area.Posted on Google![]()

We had an amazing weekend. The property was immaculate in and out. Relaxing and refreshing just what we needed, a quick getaway out of Sydney. Very clean and well looked after. Jill was a fantastic host. Thank you for this amazing experience.Posted on Google![]()

Jill is such a warm and welcoming host, giving clear instructions and recommendations on where to go, what to eat. Location is great with a car, the whole space is beautiful. Highly recommended. Our only minor feedback is hot water availability; when husband turned on the sink tap, water in the shower turned cold. An unexpected wake-up :) but otherwise a memorable stayPosted on Google![]()

I booked this B&B hoping to relax in a quiet place, and I was delighted by the beautiful garden and terrace, as well as the large bathtub. It was exactly the kind of stay I had hoped for. The owner, Jill, lived in Japan as a child and can speak a little Japanese. She was also very kind, giving me a ride to town since I don't have a car, and I can see why this place has such high ratings.

A friend and I were looking for a place to stay in the mountains for a weekend away from the city and found this place. It was the best decision we made! Despite the rain we couldn't have had a nicer time! The location was just off the motorway but there's enough greenery and nature that you wouldn't even know you're that close! The manager was absolutely lovely and made our stay a delight! Breakfast was included and served with care. The solarium is surrounded by a garden and my partner loved it! It was quite and secluded but you're a 5 minute car ride to Leura's main street and less than 10 minutes to Katoomba. Overall, the place was quaint and private and the staff made us feel absolutely welcome. The room was cozy but just enough for the 2 of us. The standing shower and jacuzzi tub were a wonderful addition to the room. We will definitely be booking another stay here in the future!+5Posted on Google![]()

I spent two nights there and enjoyed it. Rhonda is a really lovely hostess. And I've never had so many different kinds of fresh fruit with my muesli anywhere else. Thank you.

100% recommend staying here. Not only it’s well located, but it’s also very well taken care of. The best part was Rhonda. Lovely and caring human being who took care of us and cooked the most delicious breakfast. The rooms are really comfortable, you get your part of the balcony from where you can spot lots of birds, the beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. Thanks for a beautiful experience!+0Posted on Google![]()

After a truly terrifying experience at the Hydro Majestic Blue Mountains, we found this wonderful bed and breakfast. The rooms are charmingly furnished, and the two ladies who run Bethany's are exceptionally welcoming. We felt right at home and would have loved to use the small common room or sit in the window alcove with a book overlooking the garden. Breakfast was fantastic. A large fruit platter with six or seven different fruits, cereal with fresh quark, croissants with jam, and freshly cooked eggs prepared to order—what more could you ask for? We felt very, very comfortable there and highly recommend this wonderful little bed and breakfast.
